Black Voter Action Network - Day of Action with Victor Sims

Join the Black Voter Action Network for our upcoming Days of Action! Our next Day of Action will take place on Saturday, October 10th, in Polk County, where we’ll knock on doors and speak directly with voters in support of Victor Sims for Polk County School Board, District 3 Together, we’ll connect with our community and help mobilize voters ahead of the November election. When: Saturday, October 10th Time: 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.Where: TBD The Black Voter Action Network is a program bringing together volunteers to connect directly with voters in their own communities. The goal is to reach Black voters in their own communities, share what is at stake in this election, and increase turnout. Data show that 72% of Black voters in Florida are registered Democrats. Yet in the 2024 election, turnout among this critical voting bloc was only 33%. We need your help to turn Florida blue! During our Days of Action, we’ll knock on doors to speak with our neighbors, hear about the issues that matter most to them, and make sure they have the information they need to participate in this election. No prior canvassing experience is required. We’ll provide training, materials, script, and all the information you need before heading out. Sign up to join us and be part of this movement.
