LGBTQIA+ Town Hall and Day of Action

Kick off National Coming Out Day Weekend with us! Stonewall Democrats of Pinellas County and Equality Florida Action PAC are partnering for a first of its kind event: a Town Hall where you can hear directly from Mayor Ken Welch and our other 2026 co endorsed candidates, followed by canvassing for Pro Equality candidates across Pinellas County. 🗓️ Saturday, October 10 📍 The Studio @ 620, St. Petersburg, FL Schedule: 10:00 AM — Town Hall with Mayor Ken Welch and co endorsed candidates, moderated by State Representative Michele Rayner. Ask questions directly about how they'll protect our community and navigate Florida's new Anti DEI law to keep St. Pete Pride strong into its 25th year. 11:00 AM — Canvassing for Pro Equality candidates Candidates confirmed so far: Ken Welch, St. Pete Mayor Brian Beckman, State House District 58 Lindsey Polega Quigley, State House District 60 Gabriel Hament, St. Pete City Council District 2 More candidates to be announced With Florida's new Anti DEI law taking effect and a wide open Governor's seat, this election matters. Come hear from the candidates, ask your questions, then help get them elected. Come out. Show up. Knock doors. Not at all. We'll run a quick training at 11:30 AM before hitting the streets, so first timers are welcome. Don't want to canvas? No worries. We will be text and phone banking as well.  Can I just come to the Town Hall and skip canvassing? Yes. Come for the Town Hall, stay for canvassing, or do both. Every bit of participation helps.
