Let's learn to phone bank Levy Dems

Florida Dems are kicking off our On to November Weekends of Action on into the general election. Would you like to see how phone banking works in a relaxed, small group of fellow Levy Dems? The training will review the process step-by-step and any questions you have or concerns will be addressed. When you begin phone banking you will need  Phone  Computer (desktop or laptop) Pad of paper and pen/pencil  The phone banks are open from 9 AM to 8 PM daily (Sundays noon to 7) so you can decide when calling suits your schedule. A zoom link will be provided for this training session when you sign up. The link will appear on the screen. Minimize or close that screen and go to the email you registered with. Simply scroll down and answer YES, then scroll further down for the link. The phone bank we are using will ask you for your zip code so you will start off with neighbors in your area. The scripts are short. You can review or even print the script then make calls at your own pace. There are a few questions to ask if you get ahold of the voter. We are continuing to renew vote-by-mail ballots for Dems and left-leaning NPs who have had them in the past. The lists are updated frequently. This script will evolve as the election nears. MAIL BALLOTS ARE STILL ALLOWED AND WILL BE MAILED AND VOTED AS ALWAYS IN THIS ELECTION. ANY LEGAL CHALLENGES CONCERNING DELIVERING BLANK BALLOTS TO VOTERS SHOULD WILL NOT IMPACT THE ABILITY OF CITIZENS TO USE THIS CONVENIENT AND OFTEN NECESSARY WAY TO VOTE.
