School Supply Drive By SemDems

Take advantage of Florida's Back-to-School Tax-Free Holiday, July 20–August 20, 2026, to help local students in need. Seminole County Public Schools estimates that 4,000 students will experience homelessness by the start of the school year. While those numbers are heartbreaking, together we can make a meaningful difference. Please consider donating new school supplies. The SemDems office will be accepting donations during regular office hours and at the next SemDems Monthly Meeting. Bring a bagful if you can! Every notebook, backpack, pencil, and box of crayons helps equip a child for success in the classroom. No student should have to start the school year without the basic tools they need to learn and thrive. Together, we can help Seminole County students begin the school year ready to succeed.
